The Last PhilCast (Before Rebranding), Pt 1
Wednesday Dec 06, 2023
Wednesday Dec 06, 2023
It's so long, I had to break it up into two parts. What a way to go for the last episode under the PhilCast branding.
Some of the things discussed on this episode
My Jeep needs more work, so I did some work on it. I discuss the parts I've replaced so far and what I've done to it during the last month.
My fuel economy has gone down a lot since when I bought it.
Putting a junkyard radio into the Jeep.
Got wheel hubs for the Jeep as well and put them on. After that, I found a new limitation of the Jeep due to it being so bad off.
I complain constantly about all of these people who do nothing at all but stay in my way.
New people moving in?
App devs don't have a brain, seemingly.
Going to Wal-Mart for the first time in years.
As usual, there's the vintage radio ads and other imaging to spice things up.

The Last PhilCast Episode, Part 2
Thursday Dec 14, 2023
Thursday Dec 14, 2023
Here's part two of the last PhilCast episode.
Listening to the sounds of rain on a Jeep soft top (with holes in it).
As mentioned before, the front end of the Jeep is off, so driving in the rain is probably challenging.
Discussion about the Jeep and ball joints and presses to remove and insert them, but no one knows which to get because they all think they are right.
Ideas for T-Shirts
Headlights for the Jeep, but I don't want to keep taking things off and putting them back on. It's better to do it all at once.
It's hard to find a decent product in the aftermarket with all of the Chinese junk on the market. This is true for headlights. The marketing that is done on cheap junk is incredible.
It took a long time to drive from home to the Post Office and back.
Storage unit discussion. My key broke, so I can't get in it.
Kidney stone...again. I'm so busy, I can't stop because I have a kidney stone.

Everyday Tracks 5: Broadcast CDs, Preparing To Install Parts On My Jeep
Monday Mar 04, 2024
Monday Mar 04, 2024
I bought some broadcast-only audio CDs. I bring you some history of Century 21, TM Century and JonesTM GoldDiscs. You can find them on eBay currently.
I need a track bar for the front axle of my Jeep, but it still needs so much more. I talk about shocks I need and how many of them are available including one that costs $900...for one shock.
I prepare for installing the track bar by buying tools I didn't have but needed. While looking, it was apparent that theft of tools from Lowe's and Home Depot is pretty bad.
