ET 16: Catching Up
Wednesday Jul 10, 2024
Wednesday Jul 10, 2024
Because I'm so busy, I had to throw away three months of recordings I made for podcast episodes and start over...again. There was no way I could make up the difference and in future episodes of Everyday Tracks, I'll explain why.
Computer problems have caused me to rethink my scheduling, but it allows me to be better able to make things happen anywhere and everywhere I go. As I'm typing this, I'm producing podcasts at the radio station at the college.
Jeep talk about the radiator, transmission and the front seats.
I had been dealing with Jeep Death Wobble since replacing the wheel hubs in November. I figure out what causes it and how I fixed it.
I bought an Angry Eye grille for the Jeep. It does look very nice, but it doesn't fit.
...and I continue the segment on my police academy experience.

ET 17: Trail Camera Photos, Decision on "The Move", Ordered Jeep Parts
Wednesday Jul 17, 2024
Wednesday Jul 17, 2024
Hello once again and welcome to Everyday Tracks. In this episode:
Checking out trail camera photos
Are people still moving to Tennessee many months after the pandemic (when a lot of people did move)?
I made a decision on where I'm going, but I need to make sure I made the right decision. I need to go there first and experience the area first before leaving.
I ordered more parts for the Jeep and thinking about other projects.
Another segment of my police academy experience: This one is the worst of the academies I've been to so far and the people are also the worst including the instructors (and the most dangerous).

ET 18: Junkyard Seats, Trip to BGKY, UTK a Baseball School Now?
Wednesday Jul 24, 2024
Wednesday Jul 24, 2024
Welcome to another episode of Everyday Tracks! In this episode:
I bought some cloth seats from a junkyard Jeep JK.
Since the transmitter move in May, we've had issues with the signal. I drove north to Portland TN to find out if it was equally as bad and what I found.
While driving, I ended up in Bowling Green KY
Since the University of Tennessee-Knoxville's baseball team won a World Series, is it fair to say that UTK is now a baseball school? I'll try to answer that question.
Part 9 of my police academy experience. This section deals with a reserve officer academy (only partly).

ET 20: Small Road Trip, Trading in the Jeep?
Thursday Aug 22, 2024
Thursday Aug 22, 2024
As discussed in episode 19 of Everyday Tracks, I fixed another engine coolant leak. I want to make sure that the leak is solved, so I take a trip to where I bought the Jeep. I might even trade this Jeep in for another Jeep, a 2012 model.
Eating at Sonic Drive-In in Hartsville TN
I love small towns, but I don't like living in them...anymore.
"Peanut butta"
There's a reason Tab isn't called Diet Tab

Everyday Tracks 21: Jeep's In The Shop; Transferring To Another College
Thursday Oct 17, 2024
Thursday Oct 17, 2024
In this episode:
I began having issues with the electronic throttle control in September (really, on the one year anniversary). It finally stopped working completely. I explain what I've been though thus far with it.
In previous episodes, I've gone through financials on moving to two different places and how I could sustain living there. I've added to that list and I'm using college transfer to make it happen. I'll explain three colleges I've applied at and why.

Everyday Tracks 22: Got Accepted Already, Jeep's Still In The Shop But...
Thursday Oct 31, 2024
Thursday Oct 31, 2024
There must be a run on Jeep PCMs because this is taking a long time. Far too long that it should. This is no different than everything else I've bought for the Jeep including a new seat belt fastener that took two or three months to get.
I got accepted to the University of Alabama. Wow, that happened rather fast. I didn't have to wait long before I got the email. Soon after, I got a package with all sorts of stuff. That is all below the fold. I'm still waiting for acceptance letters from three other universities I applied at and I'll likely not hear from them until the first of the year.

Campus Tours (or not): OK State and U/Oklahoma
Thursday Mar 20, 2025
Thursday Mar 20, 2025
In this episode, I travel to Oklahoma to do two campus tours. One of those at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater OK and the University of Oklahoma in Norman. What happens on this trip is the culmination of poor planning and preparation and the most freakish winter weather event that no one at the National Weather Service could have forecast.
